A psychotherapist with a servant's heart, Valerie L Hannor, MA, LPC served in the United States Army for 20 years and retired in 2007 as a Chief Warrant Officer. She transitioned into a career in counseling in order to serve her community. While completing her degree as a Master of Art in Counseling at Webster University in 2008, she simultaneously worked for the children in her community as a Guardian Ad Litem Volunteer. Upon receiving her degree, she worked as a clinical counselor with Cumberland County Mental Health Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina for 4 years before relocating to San Antonio, Texas. In Texas, she was given the privilege to work at Bexar County Drug Court as a clinical practitioner at the Center for Healthcare Services from 2013 to 2015. During her tenure, she worked from part-time to full-time at Healthy Innovative Processes. This position was vital in preparing her to launch her own company, Virtuous Counseling Center. Driven by her passion to serve San Antonio, TX and the surrounding communities, she will do everything in her capacity to provide sound, solution-focused counseling to those in need.
Casey Tully is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas with 10 years of clinical experience. Casey attended The University of Texas at San Antonio where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master of Arts degree in Counseling. She has worked in a variety of settings including, nursing homes and rehabilitation facilities, community mental health with clients on felony probation and parole, clients with serious mental illness, and as an Employee Assistance Program counselor. Casey works with adults who are experiencing a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Her goal is to help clients find their inner strength and develop the skills they need to resolve difficulties, accomplish goals and make positive changes. Casey’s draws from a variety of techniques to best assist with client’s unique situation and needs in a caring, non-judgmental, and safe environment. She is available to see clients in the evenings and Saturdays.
